Pinecrest lots run big, and so do the pools. It's not unusual for us to show up to a backyard with a pool large enough that a group class would need three instructors just to keep eyes on everyone. That size is actually part of why so many Pinecrest families skip the group swim school model entirely.
With a private lesson. The whole pool becomes usable teaching space instead of a crowded shallow end shared with six other kids. A coach can move a nervous 5-year-old to a quiet corner one week and use the full length of the pool for lap practice the next, without waiting on anyone else's turn.
A lot of our Pinecrest families are juggling two or three activities in one afternoon. We keep a flexible late-afternoon and early-evening window specifically because that's when Pinecrest households actually have a free thirty minutes.
