Why We Schedule Swim Lessons Around Miami Traffic, Not the Clock

JULY 24, 2025·3 MIN READ

A 4:30pm lesson slot sounds simple until you factor in that getting from a coach's previous appointment in Kendall to a family's pool in Brickell during afternoon traffic can eat forty minutes that a map would suggest should take fifteen.

Why "on time" means something different here

We build in real traffic buffers between appointments, especially for anything scheduled between 3:30 and 6:30pm on weekdays, rather than assuming Google Maps' optimistic estimate. It's a small operational detail, but it's the difference between a coach showing up flustered and fifteen minutes late versus arriving calm and on schedule.

What this means for booking

If your ideal lesson time is right in the thick of rush hour, we'll sometimes suggest a slightly earlier or later slot instead, not because the time doesn't work for the lesson itself, but because getting a coach there reliably matters more than hitting an exact hour.

We'll help you find a realistic, reliable weekly time slot.
