Water safety is the reason most parents book a baby's first lesson, but it's rarely the only thing they notice afterward. Coaches hear it often, "she sleeps better on lesson days" or "he's been reaching for things more since we started."
Water resistance gives babies a different kind of feedback than land does. Kicking against water, being gently moved through different positions, feeling temperature and pressure changes. It's a lot of sensory input packed into thirty minutes, and it tends to wear babies out in the good way.
A weekly lesson at the same time, with the same coach, gives some families a predictable anchor point in an otherwise chaotic baby schedule. That's a smaller benefit than water safety, but for a lot of parents it's a real one.
